Today starts a four-part series on Profit First. In this episode, I'm chatting with my personal Profit First coach, Liz Szporn. Let's demystify Profit First and make it accessible.

Liz works as a Profit First Guide and certifies coaches in the Profit First Method. She also works with Profit First Mastery Members in a more holistic business coach role. She loves Profit First and jumps at the opportunity to share it with business owners.

What's Liz seeing in trends related to Profit First?

The Profit First book by Mike Michalowicz book came out in 2006. Mike wrote the book based on his experience and made it super relatable. In 2013, Mike decided to branch out from the book and started Profit First Professionals. 

Liz arrived on the Profit First scene in 2019. When Covid hit in 2020, Liz watched as people responded in a variety of ways. 2020 was an amazing year for Profit First because so many people wanted to learn how to help their clients. 

What are Liz's thoughts about Profit First and Inventory Based Businesses?

The reason Profit First resonates so much is because it gives clarity over where your money is so that you can make informed decisions. The more clarity, the better.

With a structure in place, you know where you stand and what's really going on. Profit First helps you sift through things and create a plan.
