I've built it, lost it, and built it back – from profit up.

I'm a serial entrepreneur, a wife, a mom of two, and a triathlete. I love a challenge – and I've lived both sides of the product-business story, from seven figures and stressed to clear, calm and profitable.

The Journey

Three decades of building, losing, and rebuilding.

1993

Started my first business at the age of 13!

2001

I married my best friend.

2006

I started my very first retail boutique.

2007

I started a second retail concept, a designer outlet store. I also began buying and selling offprice and liquidation inventory. Through this, I learned to manage, buy, sell and market massive amounts of inventory. (YES – this is an actual picture of my warehouse! Look at all that inventory!!)

2010

Franchised my retail concept.

2015

I had a warehouse, multiple retail locations, and a team of over a dozen women. I spoke in front of Congress on behalf of small businesses, at national conferences and in front of the US Chamber of Commerce in D.C. I even had the privilege of being invited to the White House on behalf of small businesses.

2017

I had it all, and then I lost everything. I decided to take a hard look at how I had built everything from a "top line revenue" model instead of a profit-before-anything-else model.

2018

I regrouped and decided to build a business again...only this time, in a profitable way! I launched, built and sold a subscription box for retailers business. I started meeting business owners that were all asking the same questions – “How much inventory should I have?” and “Where is all my money going?”.

2019

I started coaching inventory based business owners - teaching them how to understand their numbers and how to use their inventory to create more profit and keep more cash.

2020

I launched my coaching program for inventory based businesses, now the Inventory Genius brand. I published the first episode of the "Inventory Genius Podcast", giving inventory based business owners weekly bite-sized, actionable steps to take and implement.

2021

I created my in-demand Profit Accelerator Mastermind program, taking hundreds of business owners from broke and stressed to in-control and profit-focused.

2023

I wrote and published, Inventory Genius. The details of my story along with the highlighted success of clients pulled together with practical steps to become an Inventory Genius yourself.
